Patience is another trait that is a very important part of the communication. In a workplace you may be communicating with different people, some may good and some may be bad at communicating.
In some situation, you may find yourself in conversation with people who are unable to explain their point. The conversation may go on and on without any conclusion. In such situation, you have to be really very patient. You just cannot show your frustration or just walk off. Patiently try to understand what that person is trying to say. Ask him counter questions or rephrase his words, to receive the correct information.
Patience is something that needs to be practiced. In tricky situations, just take a deep breath, calm yourself and tell yourself that there is no other option than to stay in this conversation/meeting.
Losing patience and reacting in a non-acceptable way could be a disaster to your career.
